Metal Rod Removed and Crack Fixed
The “after” image showcases the successful restoration of the granite countertop following our comprehensive repair process. After removing the rusted metal rod, the broken piece was professionally reset using a color-matched epoxy specifically formulated to blend with the stone’s natural patterns. While the original crack line may remain slightly visible upon close inspection, the structural integrity of the sink area is fully restored.
To complete the restoration, the area along the crack line was polished to match the original finish as closely as possible. We finished the job by re-caulking the perimeter of the stainless steel sink with clear silicone, ensuring a watertight and clean aesthetic. The final result, as seen in the restored kitchen setting, highlights a durable and visually appealing repair that extends the life of the customer’s granite surfaces.
