It is known that marble is a very delicate stone and requires a special approach to its maintenance and care. When cleaning a marble, using of alkaline, acidic and other aggressive cleaning agents is unacceptable.
In addition, marble is a very porous stone and is prone to severe soiling, dirt getting into surface and lends itself to difficult cleaning, especially if there are scratches, cracks and pits on the stone.
In order to deeply restore a marble, marble grinding is applied. In the grinding process an upper layer with a thickness of 1/16 to 1/8 of inch is removed and depending of the actual marble condition.
Grinding marble floor occurs with special coarse abrasive pads, which delicately remove the top layer with water cooling technology, without dust and dirt.
