Unpolished White Carrera Bathroom Floor

When choosing a flooring material, special attention should be given to stone finish. It can be with polished or unpolished finish, and daily maintenance largely depends on it.

On unpolished (honed or aged) surfaces a wear is less visible than on polished ones. Therefore, the maintenance of unpolished floors is more economical.

If polished material is used in areas with sufficiently intensive traffic and there is no daily work to protect it, then one should be prepared for a professional re-polishing procedure (restoration) to become a common part of regular care (first of all it concerns a marble, which is more vulnerable than granite).
