Strip Laminate from Knoll Table

Good morning I’m in London and I’m guessing a little bit out of your call-out area! I have a Knoll oval table that has the lam top coat cracking and pealing what’s the best stuff to use to strip the whole table and start again? Thanks

You can mechanically remove old coat with various tools like razor, sharp chisel, electric sander, sandpaper, knife etc. and apply with new layer with laminating epoxy (also known as liquid glass) like Aristocrat, MAX CLR or others, you can find it on Ebay or just Google it. Or even you can try to apply over existent coat.

Thank you , there’s not a chemical or solvent I could put on it to take it off? Its just that in some places it very hard to get off and I worry I might damage the marble scraping it off.

It’s hard like glass and I don’t believe there is any solvent what will be able to dissolve it. It is OK if you will little scratch the marble during removal, most scratches will be hidden by coat.
