Antique Marble Countertop Restoration

The antique marble countertop with the backsplash is located in a brownstone in Brooklyn NY. Although it had a lot of permanent stains, some of them possibly 100 years or so, after poulticing we were able to extract most of them.

You may notice two separate faucets for cold and warm water without joining them together,  possibly the water at those times was not so hot, and there was no water mixer like nowadays.
