Re caulking should be done on a dry, clean and degreased wall and bathtub surfaces. When re-caulking joints, it is necessary to begin by removing old sealant and mold. To do this, use a knife or spatula to remove calcareous deposits, dried detergent and soap film from the wall.

Relieve any excess from tub edges adjacent to wall. Clean with water, dry with a hair dryer and de-grease joints with any kind of solvent, spirit or acetone.
