The gap between the wall and tub can be narrow or wide. If the gap is not too wide, it is better and easier to use acrylic caulk. Insert the tube into a caulk gun and gently, in one step, fill the gap along the entire perimeter.

Immediately after this, smooth the fresh seam with a finger or sponge. To do this, moisten finger or sponge in water, lightly apply it to the caulk line and conduct in the same direction throughout the seam.

Before caulking, outline the slot by putting masking tape on the wall and edge of the bathtub. After the work completion, remove the unnecessary tape, the seam now will be straight smooth and tidy.
