Many scratches can be removed by polishing with medium or high grit industrial diamond pads, but for deepest scratches it is important to use a coarse grit grinding pads. And then by use of finer grit pads restore the semi shine finish. A buffing powder or applying polishing paste is useful to bring the shine look back.
